Choosing your accommodation
The Alliance Française de Lyon makes your stay in France easier and finds your accommodation during the time of your studies. You have 18 years old minimum and you want a 17.5 hours courses minimum per week? Find the adapted accommodation between the different offers!
University residence managed by CROUS
The University Residence is is the most economical offer. You will have access to:
- A great independence,
- Downtown center and public transport,
- A reasonable rent with a possible access to housing assistance (APL).
We offer individual rooms with bed, desk, private shower and toilet.
Host family
The host family option is ideal to practice and live French culture, you will be in total immersion and you will be able to speak French outside your courses. Families will be precious in helping you all along your stay.
Accomodations include: individual room with internet, shared bathroom and toilets (with the family and/or other students), kitchen access, washing machine access.
You will have access to:

- The possibilty of practicing your French outside your courses,

We offer 2 options:
- Room + breakfast.
- Room half board: room + breakfast + dinner.

In a hotel residence, you will be able to fully enjoy your stay with great independence, you will live under good conditions to study and have access to:

- A fully equiped accommodation,
- Dowtown center and public transport, the aparthotel residences are located at less than 15 min walking from the AFLyon.
We offer 2 options:
- Aparthotel “standard”.
- 2* aparthotel “comfort”.
